so, a few days ago blodgett was eating butter and contemplating mini graters that come with hot chocolate gift sets, like so:

and thought, sometimes blodgett has to cut small slices from the butter because cannot spread.
would it not be most excellent to acquire a butter gift set, provided with a small plane for making shavings of appropriate size? perhaps with a selection of regional butters for the connoisseur
what does a butter plane look like exactly? similar to a regular wood plane?
should think so. but small, possibly with a cow embossed on one side
