Monday, August 31st, 2009made a most amazing discovery! by the side of the road, amazing caterpillar! was crawling along the kerb, on the vertical surface by the road. blodgett risked life and limb to get photo; head nearly taken off by passing cyclist! also cars were a bit intimidating that close.
almost was a tragedy of lost photo actually, blodgett had not its own camera, fortunately companion was accompanied by theirs.
anyway, enough of this chit-chat. behold the caterpillar of wonder!

housebugs
Thursday, August 27th, 2009house has proved good for bug collecting. (including spiders. small ones kind of ok.) initial 3-day spider-amnesty declared on arrival for documenting purposes, but this has expired, and spiders now making themselves visible will be EVICTED or NEUTRALISED.
bug backlog now uploaded to flickr and reorganised, including special set for pretty zoombug discovered only just this evening!
