an egg plant is a baby chicken. in the olden days chickens used to hatch from underground, but nowadays they are mostly stored in barns. if you plant an egg and water it well, a chicken comes out! it has a green top to disguise it as a plant, will fall off when chicken wakes up. this one is almost done, one foot already free! the sun is also hatching for it is the morning and it must wake up too.
